Introducing DataSync

This release include: Typed data model with entities and relationships, defined by entity and relationship classes you manage through the Admin API. Built-in User, Channel, and Membership classes available on every keyset; Optional JSON Schema validation on the server and enforced relationship cardinality; Field-level projections, which are named field sets per class tied to Access Manager grants, so each client receives and can write only the fields it is allowed to; Every accepted change is published as a DataSync event on the same channels and SDKs you already use, and relationship changes reach both connected entities; Partial updates with RFC 6902 JSON Patch, plus optimistic concurrency with ETags and If-Match; Filtering, sorting, and pagination on declared class properties.

Audit Log

This release introduces the Audit Log in the Admin Portal, providing visibility into actions performed across your PubNub organization.

The changes include: Organization-wide event tracking across apps, keysets, users, roles, Service Integrations, and account settings; Support for actions initiated via Admin Portal, Admin API, and MCP integrations; Detailed event records with initiator, timestamp, event type, and resource labels; Expandable JSON payloads for full event context; Filtering by event type and time range for easier navigation; Coverage of key categories including user activity, app and keyset management, Service Integrations, OEM operations, and account settings.

ChatSDKs major releases
