Live event streams can never be perfectly synchronized among users, whether it's a virtual event to watch a game online or gathering for a virtual watch party. When creating communities for these events, LiveLike not only has to create engaging social experiences, but they also have to make sure they don’t spoil the experience for everyone by showing reactions and chats that happen at a future point in the game. Justin Poliey, Director of Engineering at LiveLike, will discuss the technical challenges and solutions in synchronizing the video and the social interactions in these experiences.
