Introducing the PubNub Admin Audit Log

The PubNub Admin Portal now includes an Audit Log, providing a centralized view of changes across your organization.

This log tracks administrative and configuration actions within PubNub, not end-user activity inside your application. The Admin Portal Audit Log allows you to view a centralized view of changes across your organization As usage grows with more apps, keysets, and integrations, it becomes harder to answer basic questions like who made a change, when it happened, and what was modified. The Audit Log provides a structured history of these actions.

It captures events across the Admin Portal, Admin API, and MCP integrations, with enough detail to understand what changed and why.

What’s Included

This release introduces auditing across PubNub organizations:

  • Organization-level event tracking across apps, keysets, users, roles, Service Integrations, and account settings

  • Coverage of actions from Admin Portal, Admin API, and MCP integrations

  • Event records including initiator, timestamp, event type, and affected resources

  • Expandable JSON payloads with full event details

  • Filtering by event type and time range
