PubNub, the world’s leading Data Stream Network for IoT, mobile and web apps, today announced Marc Friend has joined the management team as CFO. Marc brings extensive experience in finance, marketing, sales operations, administration and venture investing in the software and technology industries.

Marc joins PubNub from Intalio, an enterprise software company, where he was Chief Operating Officer and CFO, leading finance, marketing, sales operations and administration. A 15-year veteran of the venture capital industry, Marc has served in general partner roles at U.S. Venture Partners and Summit Partners and as Venture Partner at Partech International. Marc has also been a key investor in ground-breaking companies in Internet infrastructure including NetDynamics, Check Point Software, Blue Martini Software and salesforce.com.

Marc earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
