The winning application, Missio, measured the majority opinions of individuals on the ambience of a shared space – such as a restaurant or night club – by soliciting feedback in real time and communicating the responses. The Electric Imp platform was used to take accelerator readings on each device and perform aggregation and analytics on the data. PubNub served as the bi-directional communication layer from each of the individual Missio cubes to the central server, and then back to the cubes, informing them of the current consensus of opinion.
