DoubleTake Wins SAP-Microsoft Innovation Award

DoubleTake uses The PubNub Real-Time Network to build Launchpad, a cross platform content sharing app that works on any device League City, TX (SAP Sapphire Now + ASUG Annual Conference) – May 16, 2013, – DoubleTake Technologies , a company specializing in creating interactive solutions in devices such as transparent touch screens, touch windows, touch walls, tablets, and Kinect screens introduced their latest innovations, LaunchPad and the DreamWall, at today’s SAP Sapphire Now + ASUG Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, where the company was awarded the 2013 SAP-Microsoft Unite Partner Connection Innovation Award in cooperation with Fujitsu. LaunchPad is a powerful new technology that lets users share content between devices using a physical “flicking” gesture. Using this natural movement, content from one device is then effortlessly transferred to one or more other devices in real- time. The company demonstrated the powerful technology by flicking SAP Visual Enterprise Viewer 3D models from its new DreamWall rear-projection glass wall touch screen product to a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet, an iPad mini, and a TV. The new LaunchPad technology is powered by The PubNub Real-Time Network.
