Another Step Towards Data Security: ISO-27001 Implementation

1 min readMay 2, 2022

Today, we are glad to announce that we are currently in the process of implementing ISO-27001 security standards. ISO-27001-certification not only validates security for us, but more importantly for you, our customers. To get there, we are following a typical approach to ISO-27001 implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).

ISO-27001 implementation is an ideal response to customer and legal requirements such as the GDPR and potential security threats including cybercrime, personal data breaches, vandalism, terrorism, fire, damage, misuse, theft, and viral attacks.

Working towards achieving accredited ISO-27001 certification shows that our company is dedicated to following the best practices of information security. Additionally, ISO-27001 certification provides you, the customer, with an expert evaluation of whether our organization's information is adequately protected.

PubNub customers trust us with their data, and we’re constantly working to audit our solutions against the best international privacy and information security standards. We anticipate the completion of ISO-27001 implementation before the end of the year. More to come!
