Dashboards

PubNub Insights offers aggregated data for your account and apps, as well as more granular keyset data. Your access to particular data views depends on the Insights version you use.

When an Insights Standard user clicks on Insights on the Admin Portal sidebar, they are asked to select App and then Keyset to view keyset-level metrics in four core dashboards (Snapshot, Users, Channels, Messages).

When an Insights Premium user clicks on Insights on the Admin Portal sidebar, they see the account-level dashboard collecting data from all their apps and keysets. To view more granular data, they need to select App for app-level metrics and Keyset to view keyset data.

Keyset

The keyset-level dashboard is available to all PubNub Insights users regardless of the version they use.

It consists of four separate dashboards measuring different metrics:

Account

Availability

Account-level dashboards are available only in Insights Premium.

The account-level dashboard provides a view across all of your PubNub apps and guides you to apps you may want to investigate further.

Account-level insights

This dashboard shows three bar charts with counts for channels, users, and messages. The counts displayed refer to the keyset with the highest or maximum count per day.

You can identify the keyset or the app by going to the table at the bottom of the screen. The table contains the count of unique channels, users, and messages for the keysets and the apps each keyset belongs to. It can help you compare the counts to identify patterns and anomalies.

App

Availability

App-level dashboards are available only in Insights Premium.

The app-level dashboard provides a view across all the PubNub keysets within the selected app.

This dashboard shows three bar charts with counts for channels, users, and messages. The counts displayed refer to the keyset with the highest or maximum count per day.

You can identify the keyset by going to the table at the bottom of the screen. The table contains the maximum count of unique channels, users, and messages for the keysets and the apps each keyset belongs to. It can help you compare the counts to identify patterns and anomalies.
