Power BI Block: Push Data to Dataset

Power BI Block: Push Data to Dataset

August, 2017
We now have integration between PubNub Functions and Microsoft Power BI using the Power BI REST API. From there, you can bring to bear the full analytics and visualization capabilities of Power BI on that data, and enable visualizations on real-time dashboards.
Session timeout extended

Session timeout extended

August, 2017
We know it was awkward when you went to get some coffee and had to login to the PubNub Administration Portal again when you got back, so we extended our session timeout. You can now develop code more easily in the Functions code editor without being logged out. We're also working on some upcoming changes to extend this time even further, while still maintaining our top security rating.
SOC2 Type I compliant

SOC2 Type I compliant

August, 2017

As previously announced, PubNub is now SOC2 Type I compliant. This means our product is operating under very strict, best-in-class, audited processes, so we can offer our customers the highest level of security. To continue hardening our security beyond SOC 2, PubNub worked with outside, independent security auditors to perform month-long penetration testing.

Transaction usage analysis page

For our pay-as-you-go ("Large Scale") customers, we rolled out an updated page with all new graphs that show which types of transactions you're using in the system, so you can now see your usage of Functions and transactions in detail.

Billing & Support Information

June, 2017
Billing and support information is now visible for easy reference in your Admin Portal. Simply login, click your account name in the upper right hand corner, and select "General". Under "Account Details" you will then see your current Support Plan and Billing Tiers.
BLOCKS Console Filters

BLOCKS Console Filters

June, 2017
Buttons for filtering the output of the BLOCKS console are now available. Filter internal messages such as System Info, Blocks Status, and Channel Status, from user-supplied messages such as Console Output or Test Messages. This allows you to more easily debug your code as you develop blocks in our editor.
