PubNub provides SDKs for web, mobile, server, game engine, and embedded environments. If no SDK is available for your platform, use the [REST API](https://www.pubnub.com/docs/sdks/rest-api.md) directly.

## Embedded and IoT

Embedded SDKs do not use a package manager. For new projects, use the [C SDK](https://www.pubnub.com/docs/sdks/c.md) (version 1.0.0). The other embedded SDKs share the [C-Core (legacy)](https://www.pubnub.com/docs/sdks/c-core.md) library (version 7.3.5).
