# Get query fields

Returns the list of output fields produced by this saved query. Use these to configure downstream resources.

### Response

Array of objects with:

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `field` | string | The output column name |
| `alias` | string | Display alias (may differ from `field` if the pipeline renamed it) |
| `id` | string | Unique field identifier |

### Where to use these IDs

* **Decisions** — use `id` as `inputFields[].sourceId` when creating a decision from this query.
* **Dashboards** — use `id` when configuring chart `dimensionIds` and `measureIds`.
